Everybody knows how complicated is our daily life for that reason lots of people try to make it funnier and easier, as the saying goes: "For sample, a button".

This first image is a proof of it. Someone anonymous has invented these useful slippers. Into a first sight it might seem something ridiculous, but behind the jokes we realize that is one of the best funny inventions that we all want to have in our property. We perfectly know how dangerous is getting up at midnight without lights trying to drink some water or just going to the toilet. In this way, these slippers could avoid all the night accidents and guide us in the darker.

Another odd but useful invention is shown below. It is about a plastic piece that is collocated in the water tap. It is an object that has been created for helping us in our daily routine; because we brush our teeth at least three times a day and we could save on time using that.

Its use is simpler than it might seem, when you have finished of brushing your teeth you only have to press the end of the plastic tube and rinse your mouth. In order to clean your teeth brush you only have to place the instrument on the tap and let the water pass. 

This week I haven't done anything new for improving my English just continuing with the same that I have been doing the previous weeks.

MY FAVORITE PLACE TO LIVE 

Living in Los Angeles has been my dream since I was a child. LA is a wonderful and beautiful city with many opportunities and things to do and I reckon that it would be my perfect place to live in the future. Trying to imagine myself at the age of 50 is kind of difficult but I consider that living in Los Angeles would be amazing because there are many relaxing places such as the marvelous beaches -Malibu, Santa Monica, Venice- and lots of entertaining places too such as the Walk of Fame, the Griffith Observatory or the different movie studios. Moreover, I would love to work as an English teacher in LA and also have my own house in Malibu where my family and I could enjoy of the beauty and facilities offered by California. All in all, my life there would be based in relaxing and enjoying life to the full.

As every week, I have studied and done my English homework. Furthermore, I have continued watching "Sons of Anarchy" in its original version and last but not least, I have been listening to American and English music every single day.

FUNNY INVENTIONS

Nowadays seems like everything has bee invented and we use it in our daily life. However many things have been invented but no one knows about them. I chose this invention because I actually find it quite useful.

This invention is an umbrella that protects dogs from rain or the sun. I think that it useful because you can walk you dog whenever you want, no matter if it is raining. It is a great idea for puppies, because they also need to be protected. The umbrella is part of the leash and does not seem big, thus it is quite easy t open and close it.  

Nevertheless, related to umbrellas, I found this one which is not useful at all. Even though the idea of a full umbrella is good, the ejection is not, I think this umbrella is too big to carry. Furthermore, it would be so uncomfortable to open it and use it on places with a lot of people. I do not think it is practical.

This week, I have not done anything different to improve my English. I keep listening to music and watching series. I really enjoy doing these two things and I think it really helps me.

Life is evolving and so are inventions. In the last few decades there has been a "boom" of useless inventions which have caused laughs and jeers but, are these inventions so ridiculous?

 In this case, I have chosen these two pictures of these special  inventions. Firstly, we can see a very strange bib which is used to eat noodles or spaghetti without introducing our hair into them. Moreover, I reckon that it must be very useful for people with long hair as I am because when I am trying to enjoy of a delicious bowl of noodles my hair is always on my face. All in all, I consider this invention very useful and it should be available in some shops.

Another invention related to food is this one. It is a small fan which is used to cool our noodles and spaghetti preventing us from burning our tongues. Even though at first it may seem as a nonsense invention, if we think about it, it could be very helpful in some occasions, letting us enjoy of our meal without impediment.






WHAT I HAVE DONE TO IMPROVE MY ENGLISH 

As every week I have studied English and I have made my homework. Furthermore, I have started a new American TV series which is called "Sons of Anarchy" and I have continued watching "The Originals", both of them in their original version with English subtitles. Last but not least I have been listening to American and English music every single day, something that I believe that helps me a lot.

Lately, as almost everything is invented, people are inventing kind of useless or funny things, such as the next I am going to show.

This is what I call funny, I mean it is something cute to see a baby with some mops added to his body. At first it seemed unuseful to me but thinkng about it I realized that the main goal of this body with the mops is not clean the house or something like this but to avoid get dirty while he is crawling. Seeing it that way it will be probably useful for babies that are beggining to crawl.






In this case we have kind of hat that protects babies for getting water in their eyes while the are having a shower. In the picture it seems like it is stupid but thinking about it it is not and I could say thatthis is useful because I had shower a baby and it is complicated not to wet their
faces.











WHAT I HAVE DONE THIS WEEK 

I consider that I always do the same but music and tv series are my absolutely passion. I am always listening to music, I do not exaggerate when I say that I listen music always, when I am going to the University, when I am cooking, when I am cleaning my room or when I am having a shower.  And I normally listen more music in English than in Spanish, thus it help me a lot to improve my English.
Moreover I see a lot of series but this week I have been focused on one, Stranger things, I always see them in English and with subtitles in English too.

Everyone would love to have a successful business but that is not something easy.

In my opinion, a successful business has to be build up little by little. The growth of a business is due to the hard work and desire to improve in order to offer a good product or service. Therefore a successful business has to take into account the customers’ needs to satisfy them. A satisfied customers can become a loyal one and that is what a business need in order to become successful. The most important thing is to give them a good service.

Moreover, a successful business has to be a great team with a great leader whose main objective is the growth of the bisneds as well as fair conditions to everyone. Its important to overcome difficulties, cause starting up a bissines is not easy but if you are constant you will make it. Apple is an example of a successful business, it started with two men who created a computer that was successful to the point that they could not respond to the huge demand. Even s, they kept working hard till become one of the biggest company that is nowadays.

I think that those are the 5 things that people need to take into account in order to have a succesful bussines. You have to be fearless to set up a bussines without knowing how is going to be. It is easier to fund a bussines with the help of partners so I think that it is very important to have them. Moreover, if you have a bussines you need to have so values, being honest in everything you do in order to create good opportunities for everyone. Being grateful to the ones who have been with you since the begining and helped you to get where you are is also very important. Last but not leat health is also important because if you do not have a good health you can not fund a bussines.

I did not do something different from the past weeks to improve my English.

From my point of view, a succesful business is the one that had to start from zero and then little by grow up until become a very big company. For instance IKEA was founded by Igfvar Kamprad, he started his company at the age of 17 and he began selling matchboxes that he delivered by his own on his bike. This was a success and he realized that he could earn a lot of benefits, then 5 years later he began to sell furnitures. In 1951 they made th first catalogue with their initial products.

Nowadays, IKEA is one of the most important companies all around the world and his founder one of the richest people, We can find an IKEA store almost in every country. In my city Murcia there is one store and whenever I go it is full of people that are looking something for buy. It is just amazing how such a big company had that humble beggining. And, as I said before, that is the key point on being successfulin business.

Be Fearless: If you feel fear in this industry and you dont try or risk it is cent per cent sure that you will not success.
Understand Finance: Many people without knowledge about economy could form a enterprise and have success, however I consider that it is an important requierement in this world.
Grow as a leader: Knowing how to work with people and how to be a leader is one of the most important aspects in this community.
Showing Gratitude: Despite being successful if you do not show gratitute and modesty you it let it go to your head and it could bring you problems.
Staying healthy: Health is the most important thing in our lifes and you do not have to place your work over yuor health.


WHAT I HAVE DONE THIS WEEK
This week I have been watching my favourite TV show, Friends, in English without subtitles, I have watched it a lot of times, in Spanish, in English with subtitles but this time I wanted to watch it without any help and this is the very first time that I do so. I understood almost everything and I am very happy about it.

A business can be defined as an organization that sells goods or services but, what do we consider a successful business?

Most people relate a successful business with a huge company but it is not totally correct. There are many small businesses that start growing until they turn into huge and international companies such as for example Zara, which started as a little store in Galicia and nowadays is part of Inditex, one of the most important businesses in the world. From my very personal view point, a successful business is the one that works hard in order to improve day by day, the one that does not give up even though it has achieved its principal objective.

Therefore, a successful business has to take into account  people´s needs and likes in order to satisfy them and create good opinions and, above all, loyal customers. All in all, if a company follows these advice, it has many possibilities to become a successful and important one.

This is my personal selection. On the one hand, my first three choices  are psychological and also emotional. I consider that being emotionally healthy is crucial because it will help us to be persuasive and to fight for what we really want. In contrast, if we are depressed or emotionally blocked we will never be able to success properly. On the other hand, my last two choices are related to knowledge and strategy, which are two important factors providing we want to be successful. If we have a broad knowledge and we are certain of ourselves, nothing will stop us from succeeding.

As every week, I have done my homework and studied and I have also continued with the reading of "Game of Thrones". Last but not least, I have been listening to American and English music all the time and I have watched the whole new season of "Stranger Things".
