Dear Carol,

Thank you very much for your last letter, I could know how is your new life out of Spain. I thought you might be interested in hearing about all the things I’ve doing lately to improve my English.
As I told you last month I’ve started my new degree on English Studies and that requires having a higher level than I’ve had until now. For this reason, I´ve followed out the advices that my English professor gave me the first classes day.
First of all, I started to watch a TV series called ‘Prison Break’ obviously in English. Meanwhile, I put on the subtitles on the TV so I could read all at the same time I was listening it. Moreover, I’ve hire a particular English teacher for practising my speaking and for improving my fluency. Besides all that, I’ve been reading some English books, listening English radio stations and going out to parties meeting Erasmus people.
I remember my professor said me that I didn’t be put off if  I couldn’t improve as quick as other people did, but I went on with my purpose.  Now I´m so proud of me because I realize how I’m achieving my challenge.
By the way, are you going to come to Spain soon? I´m looking forward to hearing from you.

Love,
Marina
